Location, location, location! Unique locales can inspire wonderfully creative photographs. Portland's own turn-of-the-century Pittock Mansion is an architectural masterpiece and historical gem full of photographic opportunities. This is a special opportunity to explore the Mansion before public hours and with restraining ropes down.
What better way to spend a rainy winter day than poking around a huge historic mansion with your camera? The second class will be a group sharing and critique of work created during the trip. Students should bring cameras and may shoot with film or digitally.
The trip will be led by Laura Valenti
Laura is a Portland photographer and the Program Director at Newspace. She has taught numerous classes and workshops at Newspace since the Center's establishment in 2002.
