In this dynamic class,
you'll learn to take lighting out of
the studio and into the real world
to augment and enhance natural
lighting situations. You'll learn
how to use the sun as a source or a
fill-light, how to filter, bounce, and
redirect natural light, and how to
use strobe lights to complement
natural light.
You'll learn to create
striking images by over-lighting with
strobes and will learn how to mimic
natural lighting sources with artificial
light.
Pro photographer Andy Batt
of andyBATTstudio will show you
how to create compelling mood and
drama with your outdoor lighting, as you learn to let go of formulaic approaches and embrace
your creative side.
This class is perfect for those wishing to build upon core concepts learned
in Lighting Basics or an equivalent basic lighting class. Required prerequisite: Lighting Basics or
instructor's consent. Class will be held at andyBATTstudio, 2021 SE 11th.
