On Assignment: Central Oregon Homesteads
Weekend of July 24th through 26th
Review of work - Sunday, August 9th 5-8pm
$295
Join our favorite trip leader Robert (Bob) Davis on another action-packed photo expedition
through Central Oregon's backcountry. This trip is a special tour of abandoned homesteads
and other tucked-away photographic gems in the area. Bob has an intimate knowledge of
Oregon's historic settlements and special access to some of the more out-of-the-way sites
- which will make this trip a
truly fantastic experience.
You'll
get to explore two abandoned
homesteads complete with
beautifully weathered outbuildings
and antique vehicles rusting away
in the weeds, two old schoolhouses,
and a stationmaster's house. The
Sherman and Wasco county areas
you'll be traveling through are also
full of fantastic opportunities for
landscape photography - you'll
see yellow wheat fields blowing
in the wind, rolling prairie lands,
cattle and horses nibbling at
the grass, and picturesque white
windmills against a backdrop of
the magnificent Cascade Range.
Throughout the trip, Bob will work
one-on-one with each photographer, making sure everyone gets beautiful images. This is an
incredible chance to capture great shots of unique locales as you receive instruction from a
talented guide and mentor. This trip is perfect for photographers at all levels who are ready to
immerse themselves in a true photographic adventure - and learn a lot in the process. On this
trip, Bob will be taking the group to different sites than his previous trips with Newspace, so
returning students will have new photographic experiences. Participants will receive a detailed
itinerary upon registration.
This trip will be led by Robert (bob) Davis.
