In this hands-on class, you'll learn to navigate the wide
world of Photoshop Elements to upload and enhance
your digital images. Elements is a simpler, more userfriendly
edition of the full Photoshop program - and
it has many of the same great image-editing capabilities. You'll work with your own pictures as you
learn to control key image elements like contrast, sharpness, and color. You'll also learn to solve
common problems with handy retouching tools.
Pro photographer Mike Vraneza will walk you through the program and show you how to make the most of your
images. Students should bring usb jump or external hard drives to class. Students may use
the digital lab for five hours free of charge during their enrollment.
Required text: "Photoshop Elements 8: After the Shoot" by Mark Fitzgerald.
