This class is geared towards the beginning photographer interested in learning how to take better
pictures with a point-and-shoot camera. With the help of a pro, you'll dive right in and learn to
take control of your camera. You'll learn how to navigate different picture modes, like portrait,
candlelight, sports, and macro, how to control flash, and how to individualize settings to best suit
your needs.
You'll also learn how to frame images and how to avoid many common photo pitfalls.
Ultimately, you'll learn to take charge of your photos with simple, helpful tools that can really make a
difference.
Students should bring cameras and manuals, if available.
