Creative Lighting
Sunday, August 24th
10am-5:30pm
$115
If you've taken an intro lighting class and are ready for the next step, this workshop is for you! This class will help show you how to think outside the box with lighting and will work with you to create scenarios from the ground up using lighting to your creative advantage.
You'll get hands-on direction in the use of soft boxes, grid spots, gels, umbrellas, and reflectors as you see how the right lighting can really make a picture pop. You'll also learn how to create "natural light" in a studio context and how to replicate the look of light coming from different sources. This workshop is an excellent opportunity to expand on and refine your technical skills so you'll be better prepared to express your artistic vision.
Prerequisite: Intro to Studio Lighting, or equivalent.
