1st Annual Members' Showcase: A Juried Exhibition
Newspace Center for Photography invites our members to enter work to be considered for our 1st Annual Members' Showcase: A Juried Exhibition. Selected images will be shown at the Center during the month of September 2009. The call is open to all photographic themes and processes. Entries will be accepted through Friday, July 17th 2009 (postmarked).
To enter the you must be a current Newpace member at any level. If you are not a current member, you may sign up or renew at the time of submitting your entry. Membership information can be found HERE
EXHIBITION & AWARD
Those accepted into the show will be notified by late July and will be posted on our website. Selected photographers will exhibit at Newspace from Friday, September 4th through Sunday, September 27th, 2009 with an opening reception and member appreciation party on Friday, September 4th.
ENTRY DETAILS
Each member can submit up to five images for consideration. To enter, fill out and mail a completed entry form. Only CD submissions will be accepted. Images must be 300 dpi jpg files no larger than seven inches in the longest dimension. Each jpg file must be titled with your last name, first initial, "underscore" and the correlating number to match the entry form. For instance, Mike Smith would be SmithM_1.jpg. The CD itself must be labeled with the photographer's name. Materials will not be returned.

The show will be selected by the Newspace staff and Board of Directors

SUBMISSION OF WORK ACCEPTED INTO THE EXHIBITION
The exhibition piece must be professionally framed or mounted. We will not be able to accept pieces larger than 20x24 framed. Please do contact us though if this is a serious issue for you. Although your work will be handled with extreme care, we will not be responsible for the damage of any work. We ask that all work selected for exhibition be offered for sale at a price determined by the artist. Artists will receive seventy percent of the sale price. Accepted work must arrive at the Center by Friday, August 28th.
