Board positions available

Treasurer position
The Newspace Board of Directors is currently seeking a new member for the position of Treasurer. Prospective members should have non-profit board experience, an interest in the arts, proven accounting skills, proficiency in Quickbooks, and a desire to contribute to the strength of the organization.

Board positions require a commitment of one to two years of service. Members are required to attend and participate actively in monthly board meetings, which are typically held on third Thursdays from 7-9pm at the Center.

Each member is expected to work between board meetings on activities related to Newspace's mission. What a board member does in this area is largely self-determined, based on individual skill sets and interests. Board members are also asked to maintain an annual membership with the Center at a personally meaningful level.

S/he should also be able and willing to work collaboratively and have time to prioritize Newspace activities as we do have a "working board". Board members are also asked to maintain an annual membership with the Center at a personally meaningful level.
