Board Member position
The Newspace Board of Directors is currently seeking a new member. The prospective board member should have non-profit and fundraising experience, enthusiasm for the arts, and a desire to contribute to the strength of the organization.

Each member is expected to work between board meetings on activities related to Newspace's mission. What a board member does in this area is largely self-determined, based on individual skill sets and interests. S/he should also be able and willing to work collaboratively with other members of the board and advocate for Newspace broadly in the community. Board members are also asked to maintain an annual membership with the Center at a personally meaningful level.

Board positions require a commitment of one to two years of service. Members are required to attend and participate actively in monthly board meetings, which are typically held on third Thursdays from 7-9pm.
